The engineering of a grain silo prompted Benjamin Monein to reflect on emptiness and fullness, before arriving at the initial idea of ATLAS: a bucket bag with a double construction, composed of a bag base embedded in an openwork leather cylinder.
ATLAS is the result of a development combining CAD-CAM (digital design-manufacturing) and leather craftsmanship.
The second object in the line, the ATLAS bag continues and deepens Benjamin Monein's creative intention. Guided by the style and principles of the CALYPSO water bottle holder, ATLAS offers a new function to the MONEIN line.
